Joseph Coffland

Joseph Coffland has been the lead developer at Folding@home since 2008 through his company Cauldron Development. He develops the F@h client software and the server software and infrastructure that distributes simulation jobs to donor computers, tracks points and reports statistics.

His software releases include the v7 client (March 2012), a full rewrite that unified Folding@home on Windows, macOS, and Linux, and the v8 client, codenamed Bastet (January 2023).
